Amini Community Foundation, formerly known as Amini Mogotio CBO, is a passionate organization dedicated to unleashing the potential within our community. Our work spans education, health, environment, sports, and entrepreneurship—driven by the conviction that everyone deserves the chance to thrive.

Our Mission

We collaborate with community members to:

• Protect and conserve our environment through tree planting and sustainable practices

• Support skills-based education that equips individuals with practical skills for employment and self-employment

• Empower women entrepreneurs with savings and business support

• Sponsor needy students to access quality high school, college, and university education

• Connect talented students to international scholarships for higher studies abroad

• Nurture sports and athletic talent to compete at local, national, and international levels

Empowering Lives & Building Resilience

• Helping People with Disabilities:
  Starting in 2014, we have partnered with community to assist the people with disabilities to become more independent.

• Nurturing Sporting Talents:
  From organizing soccer tournaments to supporting upcoming athletes in training camp into becoming world class elite runners

• Environmental Stewardship:
  Over 10,000 trees planted across Mogotio Kenya—restoring forests and providing shade and ecological balance.

• Skills & Education for a Better Future:
  Supporting students to graduate in diploma courses, many of whom now earn a living and give back.

• Women’s Empowerment & Entrepreneurs:
  Our Amini Sacco has grown into a source of hope, with over 300 women and men transforming their small businesses into sustainable livelihoods.

• Supporting Needy Students:
  Over 30 students backed through high school, many achieving outstanding exam results and inspiring their communities.

• Connecting to Global Opportunities:
  Talented students are studying abroad on full scholarships at institutions like Yale, Princeton, University of New Mexico, Iowa State University and Central Methodist University among others—raising the profile of our community worldwide.
